Club Membership

Without members, NHA would not exist. Your pledge helps keep the doors open so we may continue to provide a place to hold AA Meetings and a safe place for those in recovery. We rely on pledges and room rent to afford the upkeep and operating expenses of NHA.

Why pledge?

  • When you become a member you make a personal commitment to the future of NHA.
  • You make it possible for those who want what we have to be able to attain it.
  • You have a voice in the direction of NHA and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
  • Your contribution is tax deductible.
  • You use this facility: it is the right thing to do.

To join, complete a pledge card, pay your tax deductible donation (checks to “New Hope Alano”) and turn in to your Squad Treasurer. Pledge cards can be found on top of the bookcase or from your Squad Treasurer. A pledge of $7.00 per month or more is suggested.

Pledges must be current to vote in the election for board members.

Club Update: November 19, 2020

As you may already know, the executive order effective on November 20, 2020 allows sobriety meetings to continue meeting. In that connection, we will remain open.

When attending meetings, please sign in at the front desk, continue to wear your masks over your nose and mouth and practice social distancing of six feet.

If you have COVID-19 or have any symptoms, please stay home. If you have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results, please stay home. If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have attended meetings at New Hope Alano within the two days before your diagnosis/experiencing symptoms, please let the board know at newhopealano@comcast.net with the date(s) that you attended meetings. All reports will remain anonymous and we will contact any people who attended on the reported dates.
